Our purpose: To stop young people's mental health reaching crisis point.
Every young person whose mental health ends up in crisis is a young person who has been failed. The earlier young people can access the right help, the more likely it is that they avoid reaching crisis point.
Our vision: A world where
no young person feels alone with their mental health.
We want to see a world where every young person who is struggling feels able to reach out and has people and services around them who can really help.
Our mission: To make sure
all young people get the mental health support
they need, when they
need it, no matter what!
Whether they need a reassuring conversation, specialist mental health support, or simply the knowledge that they are
not alone in how they are feeling, we will make sure that all young people get
the right support as fast
as possible.
Our Story
Hi, I'm LEA & together with my invaluable group of volunteers, I organise
DEVCON Sci-Fi, Film, Toy & Comic Fairs,
which I've been doing for over 11years now.
WoW where did that time go!
But they say 'Time flies when you're enjoying yourself'
& I have to say, I Love every moment!
It's always an absolute privilidge
to be able to work along side such wonderful & friendly,
highly creative & talented people!
Over the years DEVCON has been gifted with such
Huge kindness & support from,
the aptly named

& I simply can't Thank them enough
Right from the get-go, we have always strived to raise funds for worthy causes,
by donating part of our profits + from money offered by other involved parties..
Again Huge Thanks to All:)
My husband started the ball rolling, running small Events,
outside his shop, to initially help raise funds for
'Families For Children' through whom we adopted our own children
& I'm very proud to say, that over the many years of supporting this incredible Charity, we raised Huge Funds, which went to helping to
'Make a Difference',
to troubled youngsters.
Sadly post COVID our Charity closed it's doors.
Educated & experienced in the complexities of living with those
who have endured 'Early life trauma & have a mental health diagnosis,
I wanted to find another worthy organisation,
that shared our same ethos & mission,
coupled with offering help to young individuals & I found it, in,
YOUNG MINDS TRUST.
I hope with your help, together we can help raise lots of funds for this
